Feel Better, One Step at a Time
Friendly, professional psychiatric support that fits your life.
Meet Your Provider
I'm Ali Khan, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I started Axen Behavioral Health because everyone deserves a provider who actually knows their story, not just their chart.
I focus on medication management and ongoing psychiatric care for adults (18-64) through telehealth, building real relationships with patients over time. This work matters to me, and I take that seriously with every person I see.
Areas of Focus
-
I'm currently in-network with Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, and Anthem BCBS. If you have a different insurance plan, I'm happy to see you as a self-pay patient. Reach out for current rates.
-
Depression isn't just feeling sad. It's the mornings you can't get out of bed, the things you used to enjoy that don't feel like anything anymore, the exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix.
I work with patients on medication management and ongoing psychiatric care, adjusting as we go until we find what actually works for you.
-
Anxiety isn't always obvious from the outside. It's the racing thoughts at 2am, the constant what-ifs, the tight chest before a meeting that hasn't even started yet.
I work with patients on medication management and ongoing psychiatric care, adjusting as we go until you're not just coping, you're actually doing better.
-
ADHD isn't just trouble focusing. It's the half-finished projects, the lost keys and missed deadlines, the feeling that everyone else got a manual you never received.
I work with patients on medication management and ongoing psychiatric care, finding an approach that actually fits how your brain works.

All visits are conducted over secure telehealth, so you can meet from home, work, or wherever's easiest.

This isn't rushed. By the end, we'll have a plan together, whether that's medication, monitoring, or both.
-
Follow-up visits are shorter and focused on how things are going.
We adjust as needed, and you'll always know how to reach me if something comes up in between.
